	These Mathematics Project resources are based on the DVD “6=1 - Mathematics and the Federation of Australia”.   This DVD is available for purchase from http://www.sharptackproductions.com/aus_abstract.php

The resources provided are suitable for Years 5 to 9 and support the investigation of 5 themes from the video.
After watching the video the students identified the 5 area for investigation.  
Based on their discussion and questions, as the teacher I developed the mathematical focus questions for each theme.  
Students were required to investigate one of the themes.
