Background to my Project For the MAV/University of Melbourne 2001 Professional Experience Award I undertook to develop a unit of work for Year 7 Algebra that incorporated Learning Centres and Technology Supported Learning, and make is available via the internet. The feature of this unit was the incorporation of the whole class instruction then small group activities concluding with whole group reflections and teacher instruction. How the funds were used: To provide time for me to prepare the unit of work on Number Patterns and Rules and support funding for the website.
